Other cars with 30K+ miles are $5K less in price, but premium cars in premium condition are hard to find
For a car with under 10k, that sounds like a fair price to me. Especially if the carfax report hasn't returned any reg flags. It's always my position to haggle with someone, you might be able to get him to drop it $500. But if he wasn't willing to budge and I had the money, I'd still probably buy it. That's practically a brand new car, I know for a fact mine was $33k new. Love the red interior, wish mine had that.

As long as you're sure you want an S2000, that'd be a hard deal to pass up imo.

my initial thought after reading the title of this thread was, buy it , but then after seeing the price yea you might want to look a little more for a better deal.

In 2003, I stopped riding motorcycles when we got our first S2000. Semi-daily drove it from 2003 through 2008 (had SUV backup for Winter and bad weather). Modified it progressively for motorsport to the point where I didn't want to street drive it (squeaky race pads, finicky cold weather starts with the aftermarket EMS, PITA harnesses). Missed it so much that we picked up a second one to keep stock.

Every time I get into the car after a long hiatus, I'm reminded of what a good car it is.
