I am thinking of trading/selling my 2000 silver/black in favor of a 2001 yellow/black.

Is this crazy talk? I feel very lucky just to own a S2000, but I can't get the yellow out of my head!!

Now I just have to find a Florida dealership that will wheel & deal-

No, I've been thinking about doing the same thing! But on the other hand, there's something special about the silverstone metallic..........decisions, decisions

You're right, the Silverstone metallic is beautiful...and VERY popular.

I've wanted a Yellow S2K ever since the first article I read on it in Road&Track Feb. 98'. They had an artist drawing of the new "honda SSX" with the title "boxster beater" on the cover. The drawing was done in yellow...love at first sight!

When I decided to get the S2000 I thought red or yellow would be the best colors, but I found my best deal on a silverstone w/red interior and it's grown on me. It takes on some really needs shades when the sun goes down or if it's cloudy. I don't think I could give it up. Also, the silver looks clean even when it's dirty. I had a red GS-R and you could always see the dust on top of the hood. Of course my final thought is that I've never seen a S2000 that didn't look awesome!

If I found a color I liked better I'd consider it. But since Red is the best color for this car I don't have to .

Don't do it! I loved those pics you posted a while back showing that the Silverstone metallic was obviously the perfect color for the Florida sunshine. Just dazzling!

Go back and take another look at the one you just posted:

Wow,

There seems to be several of us thinking the same thing. I too was debating trading Silverstone for Spa Yellow. If Honda offered the blue in the U.S. I think I would definitely do it.

Yeah, I've got that article at home too. If the blue had been offered in the U.S. I would have bought it even though I love the silverstone.
