Default Am I gonna fit in it?

IM going to the dealer for the first time today after much research. Main thing I am wondering is if I am going to be comfortable in it! Im a big guy, have a wide build, big shoulders, no matter what i do. 5'11" and 240 lbs. I have a Jetta right now an im comfortable in that. Wondering if any other big guys have bought this car and are comfortable. It will be my main car.

I am a big guy too and I fit well enough to enjoy it. A smaller butt would be nicer for the small seat but if I take my wallet out, I can manage. It is a better car for small people but I wasn't going to let that stop me. It is too fun.

I spent a lot fo time in a seat at the delership making sure I could fit and could turn the wheel and decided to go for it. I am glad I did.

Hope it works out for you.

This has come up before, and with a little luck, you may find earlier answers by searching the site. I am 6 foot 2, 215 pounds, and have no trouble at all with headroom. The soft top is somewhat domed in the center, so it clears the top of my head quite easily. I do need to keep the seat all the way back, however, for comfortable foot positions - that loses you the storage area in the seat back. The seat bolsters are a bit narrow, and you may find your 'cheeks' get squeezed a bit if you are wide bodied.

Hmmm, i have a friend who is is about your height, but weights a little more. I let him drive my S, and he seemed to find it more than comfortable. I on the other hand am the same height but much more thin and even I have trouble reaching in my pocket for my wallet (say at a drive thru). Movement is a little restricted in the car, but it's made for you to sit in the seat and stay there as far as I can tell. I guess when you go to the dealer hopefully they have one there and you can see you fit then, if you already haven't.

I'm almost the same build as you and find the car extremely comfortable to sit in and drive. You become "one with the car" as you enter it and hit the start button and start driving. I must admit it feels very cozy with the top up. My head doesn't come close to the top. You should have no problems.

I love Spam as much as the next guy, but I don't think it would help with weight loss.

6'3" and about the same weight. Tight but no problem. The passenger seat is too cramped. You'll be surprised at the difference.
