Default Am I only the idiot that cant re-install his seats

Hey guys I just finished swapping out my carpet for a tan one, and could not for the life of me bolt up all 4 bolts for the seats, the other 3 lined up but the front inside one is not even close to where it should be, on both seats. It seems like it has to go more towards the center but the seat wont budge. If I try bolting that one up then the other 3 dont align.... Is this usually tricky for most people or am I just an idiot?

Do you have all the other 3 bolts dead loose when you try to start the 4th? Did you remove the rails from the seats?

Rails stayed on the seat, and I just screw it in barely hand tight before I put the other ones in.

Don' t tighten the bolts all the way as you put them in. Leave the bolts slightly loose, so you can adjust the seat position and get all four in. Then torque them down. Of course you will have to move the seat back and forth to access the front and rear bolts.

Put some weight on the seats while screwing them on to spread them out.

Are the seat buckles near the console or near the doors now?

I'm not positive but i think the rails can move independently of each other so if one side of a click it might be tweaking the seat.
