Default Am i too tall?

Hello,

I have still not decided whether I'm getting a S2000 or not I will hopefulle testdrive one in the near future. My main concern though, is my height (6.2"/189cm). I'm used to sit fairly close to the steeringwheel, so that is no problem, but will i rub my head in the roof/cab? And will a hardtop provide more headroom?

I'm 6-2 and the soft top clearance is not a problem for me. In fact it's not close. Don't know about the HT.
How long your legs are is probably more important than height in determining how confortable you will be. I wear 32" inseam pants and the S2k is comfortable once I get in. The driving position is also fine for me.
The driving postion adjustments are minumal and manual(seat front and back, seat back tilt) so getting in and out a couple of times and sitting in one for a couple of minutes will tell you what you need to know.
You'll probably fit in fine and will love the car.

6'2" about 190 here. I would say I have relatively long legs. I test drove the S a few days ago and will be buying one in the next week. I found the general fit in the car a tad tight but in a good way. Plenty of leg room. Not a lot of room to move the seat back but I fit in a very comfortable driving position. Headroom is not an issue at all. I could fit inside with the top up and wear a helmet. Stop by a dealer and check it out.

I'm 6'3" 200 and really long in the torso... head clearance is not a problem, and I don't even move the seat all the way back. I like it about a click before the max.

I'm 5'10" and find that I look theough the top of the windshield, even when I recline the seat. With my torso height (maybe I should join a circus), I feel like I'm at the upper limit on mmaximum height. Having said that, I'm sure glad that I fit because I love my S2K.

no and no. The S2000 is not a "comfortable" car to start with. Test drive it and you will see why that is NOT a problem.

You can cram yourself in there, but it will take some getting accustomed to. I have to hunch over a bit (6'3" 34 inch inseam).

Curious, what does an S2000 cost in Kroners? I have never seen one on the road in your country -- and can't imagine paying for the gas.

Why not import something 30+ years old from the states (356 Porsche convertible), avoid the taxes and have a fun rare vehicle?
