Default Amuse Hi-Tech Rom

With the 04' switch to a 2.2, and there not being a 2.2 in Japan, does the Amuse Hi-Tech Rom actually work with the new motor? My initial guess would be no, but Amuse could still possibly have made the settings work with new fuel maps etc. Just a trivial question.

thanks

Since you can't just change the chip or do a reflash on the existing ECU (except the '06), what use would this ROM be?

amuse became famous when the broke the "code" or something like that on the toyota supra's computer. i think they were able to replace the chip with a programable one or something. but i dont really know what they do...

if they replace chips, then that's the same as putting in a standalone ECU. that's not "breaking the code"

FYI there is no code for the S2000 to break. it's physically impossible to program the ECU.

moving to S2ktalk

What they can or can't do with a Supra bears no relevence to an S2000. The two ECUs are nothing alike.

But your implication was that because they have done wonderful things with a Supra ECU that we should expect wonderful things from them for the S ECU. Unless you're talking about an '06, ain't gonna happen for the reasons already given.

exactly. you implied that because they did wonderous things with the supra, this somehow applies to the S2k. xviper pointed this out, yet you argue otherwise?
