Default Amuse lip install

Hello all, I have tried searching for some instructions and pictures on installing the Amuse front lip. I tried searching for one of Xviper's threads showing pictures of the install. Can any one point me in the right direction. Any tips on eliminating gaps? Thanks again guys.

Here is a link I found helpful. I too just got the amuse lip. I put it on to see how fitment was. It isn't perfect but you can eliminate most of the gaps by using a spacer and screw where the wheel well is. I used two hard rubber spacers about 1/2" thick and then clear silicone for the little space that was left. I ended up taking off the lip to get it painted because the pieces of paint that were chipped bugged me too much. The lip will be done on thursday. I hope to post up some pics soon. The lip is really easy to install, xvipers write up was a great help too. In total I had 6 screws 4 spacers and double sided tape. The lip was very secure and not going anywhere.

I have noticed people using clear silicon on the top edge of their lip. Can I get away with this on NFR? Will it be too shiny and look like crap? Thanks, lol.

I don't see why not as long as its not a huge amount the silicone isn't real shiny and once it dries looks a lot better too. Its better than seeing the space IMO.

Ok, Just to make sure though, do you go all the way across on the top of the lip? Or just on the edges? I think I remember someone on here saying they mixed their silicon with paint they used on the lip to make it more the same color?

I only used it on the sides where it had the gaps. The rest didn't need any. I remember seeing that thread too. I have no idea about mixing the paint with silicone maybe somone can chime in about that. Once I get mine on I will post some pics. Hopefully this weekend.
