Default Amuse R1 exhaust?

I previously owned the amuse r1000 exhaust on my last s2k and loved it... but im trying to go for something not quite as loud this time, but am still trying to stick with amuse, being as they are by far my favorite tuning company. How loud is the r1, is it as loud as the r1000 and is it okay for street driving.... thanks!

which r1?

dual r1 is not that loud...
r1 single has a resonator...
r1 basic is single with no resonator...

the r1000 is the loudest AMUSE hands down

I meant the single outlet r1, how loud is that one.

there are three versions of the single amuse r1 titan

-with one resonator
-with two resonators (extra titan)
-without any resonator (taikyu/basic model)

I'm running the one without a resonator. The sound is incredible, performance has improved (more from loss of weight, only weighs 7pds) and looks stunning. The exhaust gets compliments even from non-ethusiasts. it just looks good and sounds spectacular (loud, but very throaty and mean).

I drive it daily and it IS loud, but I can definately handle it. It gets boomy/bassy around 3k rpm but I think most single exhausts are like that anyways.

I'm sure others can attest to the sound quality.

If you want something close to the queit level, you should consider the Amuse Euro-S or Euro-W (dual). It sounded a barely louder than Mugen.
