I have a Spoon exhaust and it's the loudest I've ever heard. I've never been pulled over for it.

On the other hand I've had a civic that sounded like a lawnmower on crack and got pulled over for it all the time.

The Top Secret single titanium exhaust I have is loud, but seems to quiet down with constant speed on the freeways. No droning at any speed. My wife says she can hear the car coming all the way up the canyon when she is at home. Lous exhausts are likely too loud for most driver's preferences.

 

I've only been around one S2000 with the Amuse R1 single, and I didn't think it was that loud. It made lots of noise when you stood on the "go-fast pedal", but if you were just driving around, it wasn't that conspicuous. It did drone inside, though.

I expect my R1000 to be very quiet (almost like stock) and not attract any attention at all.

 

anyone think the R1000 will pass smog in CA??? isnt the exhaust header back?

I have the T1R with test pipe and it is loud. I have had cops follow me before but never pulled over for it.
