hello guys!

I have 01 s2k, and center console is surrounded by this carpet material.
02-03 owners only need to change plastic piece to complete the center console conversion,
and 00-01 owners has to replace the carpet with the leather piece to get the same look as 04 I guess.

I was thinking about changing only plastic parts, and keeping the carpet, is it going to turn out bad?

has anyone done it like this?
if so how did it turn out? would be nice if someone can post pics...

it would probably look a little funny, but worth a shot. you could always throw the center console on, and if you dont like it with the carpet, throw some pleather on

 

Rick's offers a replacement leather piece. I personally think it would look alright without though. The AP2 console covers a larger area than the AP1.
