Default Another compliment to the S2000 and an observation

Well it's almost 2 months since my purchase and I must say - HELL I AM IMPRESSED! I am excited to drive once again, even if it is to work and back in a 1 hour commute both ways.

Things I have noticed about the quality of this car.

I hardly get any brake dust on the wheels? - Definate plus! never had a vehicle like that before. Why is that?
Brakes are awesome - especially when you are doing 85 on the FWY and have to stop quickly. NO FEAR anymore.
Pretty civilized car for daily driving and canyon bombing. Kinda like Jeckyl and Hyde.
I get way better mileage in this thing than my V6 Tacoma 4X4. Fill up once every Mon. and Tue. of next week instead of fill up Mon and Thur of the same week.
It's just plain FUN for the buck!

Things I love about the car.

Porsches, Mustangs, Beemers, Ricers, Audi's pass me or pull up next to me - Whatever, I like my car better.
I get many compliments from car enthusiest's who actually know what they are talking about for a change.
EZ to wash and take care of. (nightmare if you are used to a big vehicle)
The cockpit is a piece of privacy, roll up the windows and turn up your favorite music and you are in paradise. So nice and tight it drowns out that long commute home in traffic, even if its stop and go.

Greatest thing for me.

This is my first real car I bought out of desire rather than necessity, my wife often reminds me of how happy I am with it.

I own it! I RULE

Road Rash, great little story! I so completely agree with ya.
I might drive a bit harder than you though because I do get brake dust, but no big deal, it is the price I pay to play.

I rarely ever notice any brake dust on my wheels, but I also put a little of Meguiar's Quick Wax on the wheels whenever I wash my car.

I totally agree with all your other statements. I love thise car!
