Default Another Dyno

Here's my dyno for all of my bolt on's and an AEM EMS. I was pretty dissapointed and was hoping for the 115-120 area but was told that the high heat and high humidity of south florida was the reason. The first run was so choppy because they couldn't get a good signal off of the coil.

Is it normal to see the peak power around 8k and have it drop off like that?

I forgot to mention the first run was with everything installed and the base map in the ems then the second was after some tunning.

This is a bone stock MY03 with 6,400 mile's on the ticker. This was done 3/13/04

205.9 rwhp on the first run
206.0 rwhp on the second run
204.7 on the third run

Max torque was
137.2
138.6
138.0

I have since switched over to Mobil 1 synthetic motor oil. I wouldn't be suprised to see 1-2 more hp.

Hello people! The peak numbers are not that big of a deal like the guy before said, different dynos, different cars, different days, different conditions...The actual numbers don't matter that much, there is a possiblity he can go to a different dyno and put down 220. What matters here is that there was almost 10hp gain throughout the powerband as well as almost 10tq gain. THIS IS A BIG DEAL...the fact that he only dyno'd 204.6...ooo big deal

I want to know what brand of bolt on's he has for the I/h/e combo with the ems. I think he should be putting out at least another 10hp. I'm not very impressed with those numbers at all.

Dynos are over-rated anyways. It's just a number -- if you want bragging rights, the go to the dyno.

If you want driveability, then look at the overall delta under the graph of a dyno, THEN you'll see the true benefits. In his dyno, everything became fatter, and the VTEC transistion has been smoothed out.

I bet that modded car with "only" 204whp would stomp any stock S2k with 204whp.
