Default another "which exhaust" question.

I know this has been brought up many times before but I can't fin what I'm looking for with the search button.

I'm looking for a new exhaust. my 2 main concerns are weight and loudness. I want both to be as low as possible.

I love the Spoon exhaust, how small it is, but don't know anything about it. I can't find any weights or how it sounds.

If not the spoon then I would really like to go with something titainium. I think I saw a HKS one but the thing looked huge! I don't like big mufflers. I also saw a JIC one. Don't like the looks too much but can't argue with 7 pounds.

Anyone have sound clips of these exhausts?

Also I'm trying to stay aroun the $1000 mark.

Thanks

the spoon n1 gives nice gains and is lightweight, but it is very loud.

i recommend RSR/Invidia, it looks great, sounds almost stock and gives decent gains.

i also like the amuse Ti exhaust,, sounds very nice but it might be too loud for you.

Unfortunately its going to be super tough to have both.

Decide which is more important... titanium exhausts are your best option for weight savings, but they're mostly deadly loud.

spugen's are less than $1000 and light weight...
not too loud, and i understand that if you leave the stock cat and just replace the mufflers, the system is quieter.
i have the dual ovals and they are also beautiful (all stainless steel mufflers and tail pipes)!

I have the Comptech exhaust and love the sound it puts out. I bought it w/ the exhaust already installed. I drove a bone stock S2K as well at the dealer and noticed a surprising difference in acceleration. However, it is expensive. Maybe you can find it on Ebay for cheaper.

Hope this helps...

i heard that the mugen one is fairly quiet. stay away from titanium, even though it is light, it's loud, but i like it!!!

the stock sound is really nice, good engineering involved, just too bad it's heavy.

I am partial to Spugen, so I would say check them out. ask them questions.

Can someone quantify these gains? How much HP are being added with some of these exhausts?
