Older versions hit peak power of 153-lb.-ft. at 7,500 rpm and redlined at 8,300 rpm, and that was my only knock on the car. If you wanted to push it to its limits, you had to work in short-read brief-sojourns through the power band.

Great review. I think that he described the essence of the S2K. Were those RPM numbers correct for the AP1 and 2, or am I just thinking of the higher rev limiter numbers?

nevermind the redline inaccuracy ... i'm more concerned that he is driving from the passenger seat! ~ "my left hand did the two-step through the gearbox"

It's the little things like getting the facts correct that make a good review. Even if it was good.....I don't take it as credible. JMO

maybe this is the imported, right drive version with lower redlines

I saw that too, but figured he was either disabled, British or a gymnast. Now that I think of it, disabled and British could be redundant. Do two lefts make a right?
