whats the song.
it's the instrumental version of "rap snitch knishes" by M.F. DoOM. little underground hip hop for you guys. if you like it check out his newest cd "mmmm...food" that track is on it. i highly recommend it.

i just put the silencers on the invidia today after a 1 and a half hour commute 2 ways. it sounds PERFECT. the drone that was previously way too loud, is now perfectly mellow. i noticed no loss of hp, but we all know how accurate the butt dyno is. i believe another member posted a dyno proven loss of 1 hp with the silencers. something that minor could just be dyno variations, so my silencers will be staying in all the time except for when i go to car meets.

you can still hear me pulling when i shift to 4th gear. if i had to guess i would say i was probably a little over a quarter mile away, so yeah, it's loud. haha

but just to reiterate, with the silencers the exhaust sounds PERFECT! so go snatch up an invidia. they sell for dirt cheap because of the bad rap they've gotten for being too loud. i got mine for $350 on ebay and i probably overpaid a little bit. just make sure it comes with the silencers!

just a question, why do you have music in the background when we are trying to listen to the exhaust?

Too loud? You're kidding, right? My wife said that when she gets the car, I can sell the sc, sound equipment, etc, but I must keep the Invidia! Our silencers have never been out of the bag they came in. Yup, she's a keeper, alright!

car vids and music go together. besides, i took into account the fact that the music shouldn't overpower the exhaust, and turned down the background music to about 25% while the exhaust clips themselves were at 150%. does that answer your question?

btw, the exhaust really is too loud for highway use. i drove an hour and a half today at around 70mph and my ears were ringing afterwards. i like an exhaust to be loud when i'm stomping on the skinny pedal, not when i'm riding around with the cruise control on.

Ummm, I have 53k miles on my S with about 45k of them utilizing the Invidia exhaust. Those aren't "to-the-store-and-back-miles!" I just drove 4k miles roundtrip to San Antonio and back this July. But then again, to each his/her own. My girl loves it and that's all that matters.

Nice clip! I'd have gone this route but I didn't want to waste the money I spent on upgrading the stereo and speakers...
