Default Another Oil Question

I have changed my oil once and am going to change again within the next few days. I'm still using dino oil but which one should I use. The first time I brought it to the dealer. Now I want to do it myself. Which oil should I use, Mobil Drive Clean, Castrol GTX, or another??? Any reccomendations?? Thanks

It's hard to buy anything better than Mobil 1.

This is true but Mobil 1 is synthetic and his car may not be ready for synthetic yet.

Did you use any oil in between the last change and now?
If so, you might want to stick with dino oil until your usage has plateaued at a small amount.
Lots on this topic if you want to do a search for more info.

Honda actually tells you not to use any synthetic oil for the first 5000 miles, so all the new parts can set. Then after that use synthetic, depending on where you live; if it summer and spring like conditions use 15w-50 for the best protection at higher rpm speeds but take it easy on it when the engine is cold. For fall and winter conditions use 5w-30 for better protection during cold starts.

Tapout
Lots of other folks have said to stay with the manual recommendation of 10w30- it doesn't recommend a change in grade with synthetic. I posted this question
https://www.s2ki.com/forums/showthread.php?...threadid=120563
and the consensus was to not run 15-50.
Not trying to be argumentative- on stuff like this I try to listen to folks on the board who are knowlegable.
