Another s2000 wrecked
Get a lawyer if you haven't already. The place you dropped your car off for repair was negligent. There were witnesses to this as well. Get a lawyer and sue. Cease all communications with the place and have your attorney handle it.

sorry to hear the bad news. but i'm all for the guy that said never leave your car's side. the only time i've left my car's side was when i was at my local dealership. they pretty much know me there and they won't even touch the car without asking me permission. they even know not to wash it because i'm so anal with my car >.<
Hey mate.
Sorry to hear someone trashed your car. You expect due care from these people when you hand over your keys.
I hope your able to have this sorted out pretty quickly. I'd be expecting similar in terms of what your after in compensation.
Stay focused and keep your chin up!

Sorry to hear that bro, its just a shame that people cant respect someone elses car and be a dumb ass!
I hope this turns out ok for you. Also get the cops information too so if lechswab tries to be stupid.
I can't think of any reason they'd need to test drive it to check the camber. That makes no sense at all. Next time do it yourself. Yes, they have special tools but I doubt they even know how to use them, nor do they even care. With a 17mm wrench, a jack, a level, tape measure, and some simple geometry you could set the camber to whatever you want. And...no test drive required.
Sorry, but I seriously doubt your car is totaled. You're going to have to sue, or at least threaten to in order to get a new car. At least you'll get a full repaint....
Good luck,
JASON

i always thought that when the airbags deploy then the call is considered totaled. I got in an accident with my '01 prelude where i t-boned a station wagon (fender + front end damage) and called the insurance company and the woman i spoke with said if the airbags are out then it's totaled. ended up getting $15,500 for the car and now got me an S. Hopefully you'll be able to get a new S.
