Default antenna stolen....

Well I knew it would happen to me one day, and it has. I think we seriously need a badge for this.

Better they steal my antenna easily than to scratch my car from being pissed off about locktite.

for all that effort i'd just invest in a motorized antenna. last i knew they were running 'bout fifty bucks. s2ooo antennas can run as high as $20 at the stealership...

Welcome to the club. I had mine stolen at the LA car show 2 years ago. Now here's the weird thing. They took my OEM one and replaced it with another. I kid you not!
Well, I replaced it and still have the one they left with me just in case I get ripped while away from home.

That sucks, I've had mine jacked before too. I guess just be happy it was only the antenna stolen...not the car. I just don't get thieves, some people are pathetic...no respect.

well here's the thing - My winter car is a 01 GTI, and I originally bought an OEM S antenna for the golf. When I bought my 06 S, it was used and had no antenna, so I was going to switch the antenna back and forth as seasons dictated. That's another reason to not go loctite route.

I've stolen things as a kid when I didn't know better, I'll freely admit it, but yeah, thieves suck!

Thing being Canadian is that H and A website doesn't ship to Canada. So I can't even buy it for $17.50

I don't want to know how much the stealership in Toronto Canada will charge me - I'm guessing it'll be like $50 CAD.
