Have fun putting it in w/ the smog pump hardline there. I had a hard time w/ the spoon spacers on my friends car. He had about 1-2mm left before the rack hit the line.
Oh I really appreciate this bit of info. I am sure AJR will dislike you for saying this.

Now I really need to do more research.

Can anybody else tell me where to buy some anti bump steer spacers? So far I have 2 sources:

1. Motorklasse (Their distributer GT Motoring is out of stock for a while)
and
2. T1R (According to this thread their 20mm spacers is too big)

Where else can I go?

You know... when I owned my MY00 AP1 it had a lot of bump steer. Last year I purchased a MY04 AP2 and it has no bump steer what so ever. What did they do to the suspension to eliminate this problem?

I've never had a bump steer problem with my AP1, and I think that's the case with most people --- if that's really the case it would explain the lack of responses.

Sounds to me like there was something wrong with your AP1??
Alignment? ???

There's a thread (I think in the JDM subforum) that talks about the differences, I can't remember what they were but the thread details the changes, they were effective.

through some measurements, testing and alignment settings i've found that 10mm thickness will work on cars that are lowerd up to 1". 12mm-15mm for cars lowered about 1.25-1.75"

*shameless plug* i do make some 12mm and 15mm spacers still if anyone is interested here's how they look like, and cheaper than $115US for sure heheheh
how do you found 10mm spacer will work best from your driving ? if so, how do you drive ? how did u r&d this product ?

imo, i have been running with the t1r bsk with j's racing roll center about awhile and there's no bumpsteer.one thing i realized that, it actually improves steering control while going over bumps thru turns on street at the track. before the fbsk, going thru bumpy turns the steering felt like it was going out of control.

as for the hardline issue, i have bent the pipe a little to fit around the bsk. i will ask aj pwr to take some pics tomorrow and post it.

Please post pics. Are you bending the line wont cause any longterm issues for a non track driven s2000?

these numbers are not something i just pull out of no where, i mainly do autox and have tested different ride heights.

i used a few high quality depth gauges and test dial indicators to measure the change in bumpsteer. testing and measuring was done through the suspension's whole travel while loaded and unloaded. i would lower the car about 20mm, measure the change in toe, install 10mm and 12mm spacers and measure the change in toe again while moving the suspension through its travel to see the difference. i would repeat this several times for different ride heights.

i was testing different ride heights for both the front bumpsteer and rear bumpsteer kits from 20mm- to about 35mm in lowered ride height and what i've found is:

10mm good for ride heights up to about 1" lower
12mm about 1.25-1.5" lower
15mm ~1.75" lower

I know you offer a front bumpsteer spacer, but what kind of rear bumpsteer kit are you running/do you offer one?
