Default Any '02 Owners with Mugen 3 Piece Spoiler?

I have always liked the Mugen 3 piece spoiler and am considering one.

However, the rear stop lamp is angled differently on the '02's. Look at this pic:

On the Mugen spoilers that I have seen installed, the spoiler firmly rests upon the rear stop lamp. So, this leaves me to believe that there will be a fit issue. Anyone have a 3pc. Mugen spoiler on an '02? Pics please!

THANKS!

Funny. . .it's more than just the stop lamp, there's a curvature difference in the sheet metal of the trunk.

A while back I remember reading somewhere that Scott from king motor sports said that this spoiler DOES fit on 02's. Sorry, too lazy to find that thread.

Are you sure about that? That would be pretty expensive to update their machinery to change the shop of a steel body panel. In the picture you posted, it just looks like the new 2002 stop lamp is shaped differently and covers up more of the trunk lid, maybe making it look different.

It just looks to me like the new light is bigger and that is what makes the trunks look different.
