Um, you really have to take Duffy's numbers with a grain of salt because they are "actual" and not "corrected" numbers. Actual hp varies with temp, altitude, humidity, barometric pressure, etc. The dynojet has sensors to allow correction for these things. I'm guessing Duffy's runs were made on a cool day with a high barometer (less than 70 degrees, barometer above 29.92) and would correct down to closer to 200 hp even.

Actually from what I can remember (many moons) those are corrected numbers. The operator input the temp, barometer, and altitude then the machine came up with these numbers. It was actually a warm day around 75, the altitude was around 200 ft, and the barometer was whatever a nice calm no low/highs day. I had another graph that actually had the above information. Don't ask me where that is! BTW if the word baseline is what is causing the confusion that's what he typed in just to give it a name.

My stock numbers are in the 195/196HP range. And as UL has mentioned in another post, the place I go to (R&D Dyno) uses a much heavier roller so the runs will have a lower rating.

Duffy, if you look at the side of your chart, it says "actual" :-). It'll say SAE or Corrected if the correction factor has been applied. Standard dynojet software. If you have the original run file we could always boot up the viewer software and see the difference.

About a month ago, I had Comptech dynoed my STooK which has about 16K miles. In addition, I had fresh Mobil 1 synthetic oil & filter. Temp was about 65 - 70 degrees in the morning. Here are the results:

*W/ stock filter & exhaust - 218 HP rw & 147 lb-ft of torque
*W/ K&N filter & stock exhaust - 216 HP rw & 145 lb-ft of torque (the K&N filter has about 12K miles on it)
*W/ Comptech foam filter (brand new) & stock exhaust - 222 HP rw & 150 lb-ft of torque

As you can see, I'm not sure but it seems like our STooKs gain a little more HPs and lose some torque as they age because most people dynoed their stock STooKs at about 200 HP rw.

Mingster, pretty impressive heh? I will try to scan the dyno chart tomorrow and post it later. It was done by Comptech.

Is this a typo?? Sorry, the numbers seem awefully low to me.

As for minor hp difference between 210 to 198hp... could it be just that it was done on different type of dynojet??
