Default Any good cheap coilovers?

I'm looking to lower my car asap and want coilovers. I leaning towards Ground controls but it bothers me that they don't have them listed in their catalog or web site.

I'd like to go the complete coilover setup (shocks/springs) but everything seems to be way over a grand. More than I want to spend on them.

Are there any good set-ups for under a grand?

Thanks

suspension components go as follows: Quality, performance, price. Pick two.

I'd suggest Tein or Buddy club...I have a stock suspension but the tein was really nice when i drove it.

I have the Ground Control. They cost about 2 grand. I've been very happy with them though.

Cheap & coilovers are two words that don't go together I think.

putting the word "cheap" and "s2000" together just don't work... this is a high quality car, and shouldn't be thrown together with crappy parts... if you really want cheap... im sure you can get a set of Neuspeed springs for about $150 for all 4. I've seen this in the For sale + wanted forums before.... but i think it jus might be worth it to buy according to performance or quality... i know what you mean by not buying the entire thing, because its over a grand.... but putting cheap parts might end up costing you MORE than a grand when things start to fail and break on you because you cut costs... my 2 cents

This is what I'm thinking.

Ground controls on stock shocks (pretty new car)

getting Koni yellows in the future.

I figure the GC's are about $500 (i'll call em tomorrow) and the Koni Yellow down the line will be another $500-600. Will this set up get the job done like teins, j;s racing or whatever other true coilovers would?

this is the same thing im kinda doing too... im doing it in steps... i bought the spoon springs, and will be complimenting them with the spoon shocks later... when the funds become available... or if my stocks give out... whichever comes first

GC are $4xx.oo. The comptech coilovers are MUCH NICER, but cost more. I've seen both in person.
