I am running stock with AEM V2 CAI and i LOVE it. The sound is INCREDIBLE and i think there is a slight improvement in low end torque. Not much though, but i think i may be able to tell a difference. Hard to tell though, mabye like 2-3 ft lbs.....dont know bout hp.

What about the prm intake? I really like the looks of this is exhaust. What about performance gains from this intake.

Dude, you asked about that already. The answer isn't going to change.

If you do a dyno with the hood up you'll probably not see a difference. But if you close the hood I expect the difference will be very pronounced after a few warm up runs.

DO NOT TAKE THE TOP OFF THE OEM INTAKE!!!

I did this, and the heat soak is INSANE once the car has warmed up. It might be possible to do this in the winter, but I found the amount of power lost was very high. I was even putting extra wear on the clutch because of it being hard to get the car moving from a stand still.

I have since done the "spoon setup". I dremmeled out the partitioning wall in the airbox, covered/blocked the hole by the air filter, and removed the "L shaped" piece on the top. This allows you to keep the cars power and yet still adds a deeper sound than OEM. Not sure of any power increase, but I do know there is no decrease.

Is there a bonnet feed like the old renault 19s had.. so you could take the box cover off.. but the heat soak is eleminated by a cold air feed..

I know you can buy these things (bonnet luvers??).. as a lot of boyracers have them on the car.. that way you can get the noise.. and the cold forced air.?

just an idea. anyone want to photoshop one on inthe correct place..
