Default Any interest in polished valve cover?

I have been doing polished valve covers for Nissan Maxima VQ30DE for a couple years now. I offer a swap service to minimize downtime and cost. I just recently did this one. If there is enough interest, I will start offering this service for the S2K. Let me know what you guys think?

I charge $XXX shipped in cont. us + your old valve cover. Is that reasonable? If people can't swing that price, then it won't be worthwhile for me.

Edited: I was just informed that I had to be a sponsor to post a price. I'm just gauging interest right now, but I might work out a sponsership if there is enough interest.

The only question I have would be one of heat dissipation.

Is it the same or better that the OEM part?

Price is reasonable, but not that great. How does it hold up under the heat? Do you provide any warranty if it starts to chip away? Would the cover just be dipped, or what exactly is the process?

Well...it is the OEM valve cover. I simply stripped the red powercoating and polished it to a mirror shine. I would imagine it would dissipate heat better.

It doesn't chip because it is not "CHROME" plated. Polishing is what jeweler do to gold, silver and other precious metals. But just like any jewelery, it does take some maintenance. You would need to buff it up with chrome polish and wax it every so often.

You've got to be kidding! Given the labor that must be involved, that's a very good price. The valve covers are castings, and they have flaws that that are covered by the powder coated wrinkle finish Honda applies. This is impressive work, and a very good value.
