Any news on '03 changes?
I don't suppose there's any new news yet on '03 changes (aside from colors)... just checking, as it's my last chance to change my mind & wait, as I'm scheduled to take delivery of an '02 Suzuka Blue tomorrow!!! What a gorgeous machine -and this board is the greatest ~ so if anyone's heard any good news about '03, I'd appreciate hearing it! If not, I may be posting about the "new arrival" sometime tomorrow!.
I doubt there will be any major changes. The best time to buy a new model is usually in the 2nd or 3rd year that's when all the refinement are completely. With all the bugs iron out and all the last minute design flaws fixed. But then again one can argue why bother buy a car when a new model might come out the year after. Each to his own I guess. So bottom line is, regardless of what is added for 03 you won't be missing out too much. Great color choice of color
Based on when my local dealer is ordering '03s I'd guess September, but others here have posited that October is more likely.
Basically my dealer is expecting their last 2002 to come in between now and July and then the next S2000 they will receive will be a 2003...

They don't know yet - they won't get pricing until August or September.
I have no idea what Honda's usual pricing strategy is - most mfrs raise the price 1 - 3% between model years, but who knows.
To the original poster, go ahead and get the 2002. The only known changes for 2003 at this time are colors, and I assume you worked out a good deal for the 2002, so why wait another three months and lose the use of the car over the main summer driving season just to see what's coming this fall?
