Any proof of bumpers/lips adding downforce

Good info, all!

Since I can't stand the '04 front bumper(I really like the rear one), I would need proof before slapping that thing on. I didn't even know Mugen made a "lip." I thought you could only get the "smilie face" bumper from them.

There are canards design for the OEM front bumper that'll increase downforce particularly at high speeds and cornering.

looks like you beat me to it!.

Canards i thought added downforce, im sure they are functional but, im not too sure, because people think they stick out like a sore thumb.

Here is the Mugen lip for the 04 bumper. I have seen this on 3 member cars in the gallery, DocofMind being one of them.

As canards go I think they are fine for a track car but are terrible on a road car.

Thanks for the link. The Mugen states it improves stability during sudden deceleration. I guess I'm more interested in keeping the car stable in high speed turns. Rear diffuser may be a better option.
