Surprisingly it doesn't work that way. I was going 75mph when it happened.

Car was sold with the damage to a buyer who didn't care.

either run no plate (which i and many other californians do) or run the stock plate frame setup. that tow hook plate mount kinda ruins the symmetry but looks neat. i am not really a fan of hacking up the license plate either.

I personally like the front plate in the stock location, keeps idiots from marking up my bumper when they tap me trying to park. Vanity plate it and just live with it.
