Pretty old question. Got one on the way home from the dealer in 10/99. I am sure there have been hundreds written to S2000 drivers since (I have had three since then).

just search "houstook" and you'll see how many "group tickets" we've gotten...and we don't even post all of them

Perhaps you should have asked 'anyone not get a speeding ticket yet'?

I got one after about 3 weeks. Haven't had one since (I have no idea how)

I think Muz asked the better question. Who hasn't got a ticket yet? Well, I can speak up! None to date, but 3 warnings. Thank you V1.

You really need to be very, very, careful when attempting any VTEC RPMs. I recently got one probably a month back and I will be going to court to contest it, I don't wish to get any points deducted. The highway patrol female officer was being a try hard when I was only 15KMs exceeding the speed limit anyway, no way I'm gonna stand down without a fight.

Got one 2 weeks after taking delivery (I had already broken it in). 99 in a 70. The cop was really good to me tho, he saw that I had a drive out tag and I was on an empty highway. He told me he understood that I was just wanting to know how it ran. I was going 126 when he clocked me. Paid the ticket without a fight, bought a Bel 980, advanced warning has kept me from anymore tickets

It was dusk. The heat of the day was waning, the sub-tropical breezes beckoned. A drive to the beach was the one respite from the maddening chorus of frogs and crickets.
Ahhh - the wind on your face, the sound of VTEC resonating off the mangroves. But wait! What's that? A uniformed officer stepping out from behind a seagrape tree! He guides me to a stop .

After 21 years of avoiding speeding tickets, I received one 2 months after purchasing the S2K. I'm still smiling though .

need to learn where they hide, they always have favourite spots which they keep coming back to like a fisherman at his favourite spot on the river.
