Hey guys,

Just wanted to know for those of you who sold your s2000 in the past/or bought a s2000 in the past with a lien on it to american honda, how long did it take for them to mail in the lien release after the car's been paid off? After making the last payment, do they automatically send you or do you have to bug them to send it in? Is there a quicker way for them to get it to you? Please post some experiences..

I think it took three weeks for my title to arrive from them once they got the check.

^^^3 WEEKS???? i really really hope not...in NY, the owner has the title i think they just send the lien release document not the title...

you can wire transfer the money and overnight the release. should take about 2 days

 

Just call Honda and ask them.
