I was watching Speed Vision the other night. It was about a group that would organize your trips(in europe) in the area of the original Porsche testing area. And can you guess what lead the pack....you guessed it a Black/Black S2000. I had to do a tripple take and get up get closer to the TV to make sure! It was a euro version so the head lights looked wierd to me.

It was mostly Porsches but there was a group of 6, 1 M3 convertable and one S2000. The S didnt get much time attention mostly because it was a Porsche thing but I was like DAMB!

I hope that our Asheville meet can be the same. It was on Sunday night I believe.

 

I missed that one, do you remember the name of the show, they usually have a lot of reruns

 

What was interesting was that the s2k seemed to be the lead car, and they intentionally tried to keep it out of a lot of the shots.

 

The show is a European motor car show (sort of like Autoweek with bad translations) on 30 minutes every Sunday night at 7PM and repeated at 11PM EST. It focuses on European cars with a heavy emphasis on Germany and tuning. I noticed the Black stook also, the show was a repeat - infact last week was a repeat also. The show has a great test track and they always freeze frame a bend in the road with a drop off to show the side of each test car when it is airborne. It is a perfect show to fall asleep with before Monday morning.

 

That show is called 'Motorvision'.

I saw that one too. I also noticed they were trying to keep the S out of the shots. It was a Porsche drive, so I understand where they were coming from.

I was impressed with the S2000 leading the pack, but I think what it was is a Porsche test run but you can use other cars. My understanding is that there was no actual "racing", it was more like a motorcade or parade...just easy corners, no one passing anyone...
