Anybody Use Zymol???
Zymol is awesome. I use the wash/wax and leather cleaner/treatment. The only thing about the wax is that if you either use too much or you let it dry, it's a complete beyatch to remove. I have applied three coats on my S2000 and the results are spectacular. To borrow a phrase, it's a purely wax on/wax off process. One hand applies the wax, the other removes it.
Don't let it dry, or you muscles will be very very sore...!

First off the notion that Zaino is causing the paint to peel is total nonsense. I don't know where that started but it has no truth to it and the rumour should stop here are now.
I have never used Zymol, I use Zaino. I love it. It is a breeze to apply and take off. It is the exact opposite of Zymol in application. You MUST let is dry completely before removal. You can leave it on for as long as you like, even overnight. I've seen photos of both finishes and I don't think there is much difference in shine.
Here is a link to some snaps I took tonight of my Zaino'd red. It hasn't been washed in two weeks except for a download we had yesterday. The car is dry.

I like the Zaino product and highly recommend it. I think you are good to go either way.

I went through the Zymol process (shampoo, pre-wax, and Japon wax) a week ago for the first time. I never used waxes on my old car because I hated all the mess but Zymol was extremely easy to use with great results. I know a guy in my building who has a detailing shop and he also recommends Lexol cleaner and conditioner for the leather. I was also happy with that - my red seats acquired a somewhat deeper/richer red color now as opposed to the almost pinky hue I think I was seeing. Apparently there's also a promising 303 product to care for your soft top but he hasn't had a chance yet to test it out.
He maintains all sorts of high end cars in his shop (Ferrari, Porsche, Mercedes, BMWs,...), so if anybody has questions about how to properly care for your S2K, I'll be happy to ask him for you.

It is true that the high end Zymol products are very expensive. But some do include free refills for life! The "Destiny" I'm using was a part of the "Sampler case" which included Vantage, Destiny and Atlantique in 4oz. containers. My friend uses only the Vintage on his NSX so he gave me the "Destiny"
One thing to remember, you must use the HD clense first, if you have any other "incompatable" wax under the zymol your results will vary greatly. HD is a remarkable cleaner, it took the "haze" off the lenses of my old MR-2 where everything else failed! I'm convinced they could sell more product if they could get people to just try it.

The Zymol was easier to take off yesterday in the cooler weather, as I had a chance to buff it out quite before it began to dry. It seems like it is too soon to take off a wax, but like the instruction says, do not allow to dry. Immediate off is essentially the way to go.
