If they are the CCFL lights made by eagle eyes, I have them on my CRV and have been happy with them. The light output is good (although the projector is nowhere NEAR as surgical as the OEM Honda/Acura ones) quality is good, and the price is reasonable. The CRV ones were $260 shipped, these seem to be $500.

The S2000 has one of the best HID projector lamps ever made. Why would you want to exchange that for some POS China Made junk projector?

Now on a car like a civic, it might be an upgrade, but not on an S2000.

Because the eBay assemblies have the angel eyes and LED strips built in. I can see why someone might want them, but I haven't seen anybody with them. Meanwhile, we have people here that have modified their OEMs for angel eyes and LED strips.

I don't think this is about improving on OEM, its a style thing.

I understand that but the definition of rice states....

RICE = Any modification that has a neutral or NEGATIVE performance gain.

That includes lighting performance.

Okay, then its rice, and your fellow S2000 owners are ricers I guess - I don't see how that pertains to the OP's question though.

Btw, I changed my shift knob to a Voodoo - does that make me a ricer? Also, I put in an aftermarket sound system - does that make me a ricer? Thanks for the clarifications in advance!

Did you add the Voodoo because you wanted people to know you have a Voodoo, or because it assists you, on some level, with driving?

Did your aftermarket sound system IMPROVE the quality of audio, or just look like it would improve it?

Ted I think (based on your comments) that you should amend your definition to be modifications that create the appearance of an improvement without actually providing some functional improvement.

now on topic. I am not a fan of angel eyes on most cars, but to each there own
