alright. mine turn blue when i turn them on, and later turn white. I can't compare if they were brighter than before since i just got my car. i noticed that at a ceritan idex of refraction, the light turns blue at a certain angle when view in the rear view mirror. it's still blue but it's not consistant

Its true HID bulbs turn bluer over time. You can test it by putting in a brand new stock bulb in one headlight and turn them on and compare colors. We had a service bulletin at work when a bulb goes out that we have to replace both bulbs even though only one is out to keep them the same color.

4100/4300k = 3200 lumens
6000k = 2800 lumens

6000k is more for show, looks more blue. The 41/4300k is OEM on all US-cars, 6000k is found in Europe IIRC.

Interesting facts fellas! I'm thinking about trying it just to see what the hype MB's been telling me. Worse case scenario, I put the stock bulbs back in, right?

Has anyone replaced the high beams? Is it tricky?

Werd. There are a lot of non-S2000 owners who retrofit the S2000 projectors into their cars just for the look.
