I've been reading that the 2008 S2000 has some suspension tweaks. Has anyone driven one, can you comment on the handling and steering feel vs. the 2006 and 2007 model?

The 2006 I drove felt like the steering was overboosted a tad. I'd like to see the steering feel improved a tad.

Only thing I can think of is the 08 models could have similar steering to the CR.

Thinking that the CR has a steering rack similar to the AP1. The standard MY08 I am not sure about.

The springs and/or shocks on the 08 non-CR got stiffer by around 7%. VTec.net has a write up on it when they first reviewed the CR. The non-CR steering rack is the same as the 06-07.

Yes the steering feel is numb. Thank Honda and their EPS for that.

From what I read into the original articles on the 08 and CR was that Honda retuned the suspension to make the base car understeer more so that less talented drivers can feel more confident during spirited driving. Because the CR was there with a more agressive feel, this allowed them to retard the base.

In a comparison test done at Mid-Ohio, the CR was fastest around the track followed by the 07 model. The 08 model came in last. I have been hunting for the article but can't find it. If someone can, please post the link.

I have a clip of the S2000 Type S vs. S2000 cornering ability comparison. I will upload it. There is a difference in their cornering ability. Type S corners with no slip in compared to the S2000.

I don't mind a little understeer - that's why I added a 30mm front anti sway
