Default Anyone else change oil from top?

After years of jacking the car up and messing with jack stands, I finally gave the oil change a shot from the top and am kicking myself for not trying it sooner. Granted, I have a CAI which makes things more accessible, but I was amazed at how simple, quick and clean it was to do from the top.

do you have a fumoto valve? the challenge with changing it from the top is the hot engine (needed to make the oil flow) burning your arm reaching for the bolt.... how did you do this? long sleeves...

I prefer UNDERNEATH were I can see everything that's going on. Additionally it gives me an opportunity to do a once over on the underside of the car.

I look at the CV boots, exhaust mounts, joints and the insides of the wheels. Additionally I'm able to use a torque wrench without issues.

I have a Fumoto valve and it literally takes 5 minutes to do an oil change.

I have a fumoto valve and oil changes are a snap. Only thing I have to do under the car is slide a pan underneath it.

Nope on the Fumoto valve. I guess I'm just old school. Once the stock intake is out of the way, the bolt is pretty easy to access with a short extension on the rachet. Car was warm from driving probably 30 minutes prior, but not too hot to get the job done.

another for the Fumoto valve.

3 yrs of easy-as-pie oil changes, ZERO problems with the valve.

Is the Fumoto vavle any lower than the oil pan? My concern would be scraping it and busting it. (i'm lowered 2.5")

Thanks
