Default anyone else do this??

Does anyone else use your S2000 to test drive other cool cars? Usually dealers shy from letting a 20 something kid drive NSX's, Porsche's, even BMW's...new or used. Anyone, go out saturday armed with the S2000 looking for test drives? I do...it is cool. Gonna test drive a new M3 and 911 early next week. Just tell em you are looking to "upgrade." They love that word. Gonna go get me a spin in a Z06 also...that should be fun. anyway, just wondering if other people do this....l8r.

I have to admit to doing this...except I tell them I am looking for a second car.

I actually was thinking about doing this, although no intention of purchasing. The issue is I am leasing my S2000, will they know, can they find out?? What attitude should I go in with in order to test drive the car, but not have them pressure me to buying it there on the spot? Any help will be appreciated.

You didn't test drive the S2k before you bought it? If you own the S2k they shouldn't care. They figure if you got money to buy an S2k..you can get money to buy something else. Maybe they won't, but money is usually all they see. Just for my own curiousity...how does a 17 yr old go about buying an S2k??

When they start talking to me about purchase and stuff like that or ask me when I am interested in doing the transaction, do I say soon, now, in a few weeks, within the month.
