Default Anyone experience a tire blow out?

Reason I ask is cause of the known over-steer on these cars. For some reason I have a fear if a tire blows out, preferably rear, it'll lose control. So.. Just curious if anyone has had a tire blow out?

Friend of mine blew out a rear tire at 75mph and it was very calm.

the main thing to remember when a blow out happens, is the same for taking a high speed turn, dont let off the throttle even though that will be your first reaction...maintain your throttle and slowly come to a stop...no sudden, drastic inputs...thats where people have issues with blow outs

had a rear tire blow out at 85MPH on an interstate... Other than the noise and slight extra bumpiness, there was no sign until I went to change lanes and the rear felt weird, no problem maintaining control.

I agree with everyone else's experience. I had a blow out on the highway with Bridgestone re01r's, will never buy Bridgestone again.

i wouldn't be concerned at all. you would lose control on this car doing far worser and stupider things than a tire blow out. In 24 years of driving, never had a blow out in any vehicle. ever.

Is this about just general tire flats or about actual tire "blowouts" where the tire gets shredded?

The procedure is to use a front tire to replace the flat rear tire, and put the spare tire on the front.
