Yeah I use Ultra 94 here in MA. Cost like $1.80 right now. I can;t always get to a Sunoco, so I sometimes have to use premium 93 at the other stations. I thought I felt a very minor difference myself, but thought I was dreaming. Maybe there is some validity to the feeling....

I used ultra94 a couple of times and noticed basically no difference. Actually, I almost had myself convinced it wasn't as good as my regular Amoco 93 or Mobil 93, but I'm pretty sure it is all mental. No difference in gas mileage with either of these three that I could track (track it on my Palm m500).

I don't bother with the 94 any more since the station near me is too inconvenient, plus it is more than either of the 93s.

I use what ever premium I am close to when I am out of gas. I know this is contrary to what most post on here but there is more false advertising in the gasoline business than any other. I don't believe that any gasoline is any better than another if they have the same octane readings.

91 octane here in downtown los gatos (chevron) (san jose area) is about 2.57. However, prices droped about 4 cents most places recently...

What? That's just crazy! Around here, a buck fiddy doesn't even get you the cheapest 87 octane. 87 goes for 2 bucks, and 91 goes for 2 fiddy.

Wow, this is the first time I am hapier to live in the North East rather than Cali. Then again, its gonna snow today, go figure. I can afford to cruise around because of cheaper gas, but can't get the car out of the driveway.

$1.50 a gallon for 93......

for us CALI people that was a year and a half ago....

now we're lucky if we can find $2.20 for 91

It's all I've ever used in my S, so I can't comment on the "differences".
