Default Anyone financed an s2k lately?

Found a credit union that has a promo for 5.25% on any term up to 72mo. Is this the best out there? Credit is good on my end in the mid 700's. Any word if honda is doing any upcoming promos?

I think that's a pretty good deal. Honda doesn't do financing promotions on the S2000 to the best of my knowledge (else I'd have one right now...) They have a good lease deal for them, however.

sounds like a good rate, especially for 72 month loans

Agreed. On a 72 month, that's about as good as it gets these days.

mine is 4.29% 60-mo... but from way back in summer '03.

5.25% is pretty darn good, esp since it's for a loan that's 1 year longer than mine.

But you gotta think, if you need to set the terms to 72 months, can you really afford the vehicle?

Not bad at all. The going rate is nearly 7% for 60-mo. loans.

I bought mine July 31, 2006 and got 6.5 for 72 months. I could afford to go 60 months but I wanted some breathing room in case I had extra expenses that month. If I don't I send extra and it works out almost the same.
