Anyone got Rick's carpets yet?
Yeah, what's up with that UPS delay? I can't really figure out what happened from the tracking info and am not sure when they really shipped but I've been waiting for 4 months for these carpets. They are supposed to come in tomorrow.
It's not a huge deal and Rick has been very good about responding to inquiries and keeping me up to date on the order status. I have a lot of respect for his commitment to providing quality products for this vehicle and it sounds as if the carpets have been a bit of a headache for him. My only beef (and it's a minor one) would be that my credit card was charged 2 days after the order but they weren't shipped until at least 3 months later (maybe that's common practice for "custom" orders, I don't know, but typically vendors don't charge you until they ship).
OD.

OD,I think the card is charged so Rick can keep the cash flow going with the people who make these products.Hang in there,I waited a long time myself so I know the feeling but when they arrive and you crack that box open......you'll smile.
I've had these carpets in my car for a few weeks now and want to ask others who have purchased them a question...These carpets seem to muffle some of the noise inside the car,not only did I get great looking carpets, but sound proofing as well...Anyone else notice this?
I finally got mine, and they are vy nice. Besides looking good they don't slide around like, some other mats. So it was worth the wait.
I hadn't noticed that they made the interior any more quiet. My Supersprint exhaust is not easy to silence. Even if the top is up I think most of the noise comes thru the top and not the floor anyway. Maybe it would make a bigger difference with a hard top. I dunno. I can't discern any interior noise difference with the floor mats.

They will be tough to capture well on film, but I can try. My only piece of advice is don't go too crazy with the color. I have a sliverstone/black car and I thought I'd go with the dark grey nylon carpet to add a little contrast to the otherwise black interior (and match the exterior) but in retrospect I think the black would have looked better (not a big deal tho). Also it would be nice to have the S2000 logo on the mats but I understand that's no longer possible.
OD if you could handle the pics for these guys it would be great because my camera is junk.I also ordered the gray for my blk/blk for the exact same reason and tend to agree with you about the color selection I made.
