Considering you have a 2002 model w/ the all-red interior I would suggest against installing a blue soft top. My reasoning is that you will look like an American flag driving down the road.

 

If you are in Japan This would be cool

 

For anyone interested in making that switch, there is a blue '02 soft top on ebay which includes the glass window. I think they want $550 for it. Not terrible if it cost you another $250-300 to get it installed and you'd get a glass window (assuming you have a plastic one now). Just a thought.

 

Yeah I have an '02 GPW and thought about it before. I was thinking that I would definitely do it if I had the black interior..or if the blue was offered here like in the Platinum Pearl white shown above that belongs to some Chef in Japan.

But, with our full pimp-red interior, I wouldn't do it either. Just my opinion......as always.

 

get blue interior from a suzuka blue

maybe the blue person would get black interior, then a black interior could get red interior, and you could get blue interior. it'll all work out then .

 

Another three way switch..hah! It could work.
