Default Anyone have a front under spoiler on their S2K?

Just a quick question. Since my front bumper is being replaced due to my recent accident... i'm considering getting the front and rear spoilers added to my S2000.

I'm wondering... how much lower does the front end sit with the front chin spoiler?

I have a slope in my driveway... and I want to make sure it wont scrape before I spend the extra cash to add the spoiler.

Thanks,

Richard

I have the Honda front spoiler on mine and I haven't scraped it yet. I've only had it for a couple of months but I think as long as you're careful, you'd be fine. I'd say it hangs down by about half an inch, so that isn't too much, and plus IMO it really makes the front end look more aggressive. I also have the rear spoiler, and I think that's a must too. I say go for it!! Why you having your bumper replaced anyways??

My bumper is getting replaced because a girl backed a Ford F350 into the front of my S2000 at a stop sign.

I'm still waiting for the state of minnesota to call me back. They're in the middle of giving me the runaround on "who" will call me back!

Anyway... the front under spoiler only hangs down an extra half inch??

That's awesome!

I agree, it's about 1/2 an inch lower.
You will scrape it eventually, I promise you.
However, I think it gives a nice "finish" to the front end and recommend you seriously consider adding it.
That's my .02

I've got the OEM front spoiler and I love it. I've scraped it several times on the bottom, but you really don't see the damage. Be careful when you're parking near curbs though. I scraped it against the curb a few times and it looks nasty with the black plastic showing through. Nothing a little touch up paint can't fix.

I've had my front spoiler several months now and have not had a problem scrapping. My guess is when I finally do scrape it will be on a curb when parking. Go for it I think it makes the S look better. Just my opinion.

I also have the front chin spoiler on my S. It does finish off the front very well and looks a bit more agressive. But I did scrape it on the bottom, you can't see it though. I was pulling out of my driveway. So now when I pull in and out, I have to lay down 2 plywood boards over the dip to get out. Get it!

IMO, scrape the bottom of front spoiler is better than scrape the bottom of front bumper, much cheaper and easier to replace I think.
