I've been away for college in Texas (weather is much different) for 4 years now and while I do have maybe 1 or 2 complaints my experience has been grand. I live 8hrs away from home, and go visit about twice a year. The drive is a bit loud but it's a S2000, it's going to be loud. I've also done several cross country road trips and the drives have been absolutely fun. Yes they can be tiring, but road trips are usually tiring just sitting there for a couple of hours (I'm 6'1" by the way). Overall, I enjoy my car as much as anyone here in the forums. My gas mileage is decent, the car has been reliable etc. The only complain I've had and it's been a few times is space, but I have friends with trucks or bigger vehicles that have helped me out in that aspect, besides I don't go towing crap all the time. So if you really love the car, you shouldn't worry about it too much, just go forward with it. Just make sure and inspect the car thoroughly if you are buying used. Good luck!

I live away at school. It is about 320 miles from home. I wouldn't own an S2000 if it was my only car... but that's me. This is your decision
