No, it will not fit. You would need to spend a great deal of cash to get it changed to fit.

Here is a pic of the VGS steering wheel.

Yeah, I asked the same question about 4 months back. The mounting hardware and setup is completely different apparently. I wonder what makes the wheel silver in those areas. It would be cool if that was aluminum instead of just silver vinyl.

S2KPUDDYDAD has installed one on his S. I would PM him and discuss your options. But yes you can install one, I have been in the presence of said steering wheel on the car. Silver material on bottom area is actually hard plastic/resin, not sure on the top band.

Yeah, that's what I thought, then I figured out that only applies in California and New York. Of course you could always fly there for some more $$ I guess.

the vgs is sold in japan as a special edition s2000 correct? the wheel isn't the only difference the whole steering column is different and it is fully electronic. i hear it changes the steering ratio depending on vehicle speed so that you do not have to rotate the wheel very far to turn sharper at high speeds. i wouldn't mind a vgs steering setup on my s2000. no one has swapped one into a US-spec left hand drive s2000? or just ghetto mount the actual wheel?

That is exacly why you can't just bolt this wheel on. But again, I am always shocked at what we here in the US will do to be JDM.
