Anyone here attempt to do a DIY clear bra installation?
I have the Invinca Shield installed on my car. I did it myself and bought the deluxe kit. I heard the stories about how people tried to install it themselves and failed but Im thickheaded. What do they know I asked myself? They arent as good with there hands as me. Long story short, after about 2 hours trying to get the large bumper piece on...i gave up. It looked like shit after I got through with it. The curved surfaces were the worst! I pulled it off in shame and threw it away. The hood portion and the piece above the headlights were a cake walk though.
I suggest just get it done professionally or save your money and have the bumper repainted when it gets real bad.

He charges cheaper for his kits installed than he does for just the labor costs of the pre-cut kits like Ston-Guard, Xpel, and others. If I remember correctly, I think he quoted me $240 for the custom facsia (with my J's lip), portion of the hood, headlights, side view mirrors, the top of the rear bumper cover (right at the trunk opening) and the patches for behind all four wheels.....INSTALLED!!!
I thought it was very fair. However, since I have a clean black car, I decided not to do the film. I think that it would show up too much as oppose to lighter color cars.
