Thumbs up Anyone know what size suitcase fits in the trunk?

Just wondering what size luggage fits in the trunk? I have a sub in the tool well thing so that is basically flush with the rest of the trunk.

Looking to buy some luggage for my upcoming vacation.

Doubting a 28-30" one will fit but could be wrong. Going at least a 24-25" suitcase will fit.

Tried searching on here but showed nothing for some reason.

Ok nice. That's probably either a 25" or 28" size for the largest one. I think the 28-30" ones are too wide to fit but not sure.

You don't need anything larger than a 21" or 22" for either a weekend or 5 week trip. I have fit two 22" carry on size in the trunk, with space on the sides for my CPAP machine and her other small bag or coat. Pack light and smart, you don't need to carry a steamer trunk.

Take measurements. I used the well to fit mine so I'm not sure what you're going to get in there now

If you're planning to pack the trunk with luggage, consider removing the sub. Not like you're going to hear much from it after you pile all your stuff on top of it. Get a smaller suitcase that drops into the trunk well. Throw a large duffel bag on top of that. You'll still have some room on the ends for small bags. The S can actually hold quite a bit if you pack it in there. My wife and I did a 2 week road trip in mine a few years ago.

18"x26" suitcase fits perfect once your remove the spare tire bulging panel, you still might have an issue with the spare tire, I don't, I did my own version of the CR spare delete (compressor + tire repair kit).
The suitcase will need to be centered because of the trunk lid hinges.

Two good size duffel bags will fit above the well. We put a third one in the well for a two week trip last year.

Any standard carry-on sized bag will fit nicely (even without the sub being removed) I have one of these(which is rather wide for a carryon size and it fits just fine.) (That's with the spare tire still installed as well).

Duffel bags are probably an even better option as you can stuff them in there and they'll conform to the shape of the trunk.
