If you looking for an alternative that won't be such a compromise check out Dunlop's SP8000s -- someone else here said they really like them.

What about the Yokohama's AVS Sports? They are going for 154 each. Not to much off the Dunlops but I love Yoko. Anbody used them for a while?

I believe it was decided that the ONLY W-rated S-02 tires are the Honda OEM ones. Checkout: http://www.tirerack.com/tires/Spec.jsp?mak...el=Potenza+S-02 . Notice there are only two W-rated S-02s (and sadly these are the only ones without specs). I believe a fellow in Australia actually visited a Bridgestone tire plant and discussed this issue with them -- he was told that the only W-rated S-02s are the Honda OEM ones (from what I remember). Maybe you can search for the old thread...

S2000 Driver-

Instead of yelling- check the thread here alittle closer.

Sondra mentioned to airgate to call Tire Rack, ask for Connor, and have him put your order through because he had recently done that for her. Short of listing the Tire Rack's number which you can find on your own, this should be sufficient information.

However, if that isn't enough proof for you of Tire Rack's ability to get you the right tire, I suggest your last resort- go to the MOST expensive place you can go to get tires (the Honda dealer).

Has anyone tried COSTCO for S-02's yet?

They say that they can order Bridgestone tires, and I have gotten good prices and service from them in the past.

I will check with them when I need new tires, but that will be a while.

Thanks,

Ted

STL,

Excellent. Thanks for clarifying that for me. I really appreciate it!

Somewhat off topic of the thread but I just saw on speedvision "hot rod magazine" an s2000 pictured when they talked about these bf goodrich G force kd tires that are proven to be able to break the 1 G barrier. Anyone know about these?
