hey guys, i'm brand new to here and considering the s2k as as potential car. anyways, i've noticed that honda has offered the s2k with a few options in terms of interior trim color. mainly:

black on black
red on black
red on red

does anyone here have a red on red and can say how they like it? to me, i would think that the constant red would start to hurt my eyes after a while, but i'd like to get someone's opinion who actually has driven in a car like this for a while to say something. the reason i'm asking is b/c i've found a nice s2k at a reasonable price and low mileage, but the in interior is completely red. thanks in advance

 

mines all red and i love it, wouldnt want any other color.

 

I have black and red, but have driven an S with all red and I could not imagine driving it everyday I would at the minimum have to change to a black dash.

I feel the same way about the SB S2000 Interior. I could not drive around with the blue dash and center consoul, they would have been better off to just accent the interior (like the newer ones with the black dash). it would have been much more pleasing to the eye IMHO.

I do know of others that really like the all red interior. I would test drive one and just try to picture looking at it everyday and see if it bothers you

 

all red and wouldn't change a thing, loved it from the time i set eyes on it and have gotten so many compliments on it

 

thanks. i do like the red on black color scheme more than the all red, as i think it's easier on the eyes and a little bit less tacky (sorry to you guys who like the all-red look). where can you get the black dash parts? and maybe door panels?

 

I had an 02 GPW with all red, and I loved every minute of it! I don't think I would have every tired of it. I know it isn't for everyone though.

 

All red here. Its what I wanted and im still happy with it

 

The only reason why I picked up my GPW was because of the all red interior.

They are rare and probably only for a select few but I get many compliments on it all the time.

I have the all red interior...it's always a hit or miss with people...it's either you love it or hate it. Usually no in betweens on this. I will say most people like it though. I don't get tired of it, my car looks like a stock ap1 again, and I think it's what makes my car stand out and actually holds it's own next to modded cars all because of the interior.
