anyone removed the Fugly xenon washer jets?
The only thing i really hate on my silverstone S is the black washer jets on the front bumper. Why didn't honda design them in the bumper? Anyway i want to have washer jets at the front of the car. i don't want them sprayed as i think they still look a bit crap is there an alternative?
you are not being very clear, but i'm gathering you do not like the headlamp washers on your front bumper. in the U.S. we do not have those washers, so maybe you can somehow find a way to import a U.S. front bumper and install it on your british version S2000.

I think only the Aus and European S2000s get the headlight washers. The Yanks and Japanese S2000s apparently don't need it. Luckily we don't want it either from all the horror stories of accidental washer drownings.
I did it on my German S2000.
I had a racetrack crash and needed new bumpers anyway, but it turns out you can only get Euro parts in Europe, so that meant that the new bumper still had the holes for the washers in them. A competant shop should be able to do this for you, but we took pieces of plastic and filled in the holes. After sanding and painting you can't tell that they were ever there.
Remove the washer jet units and plug the hose feeding them with a screw or bolt. The washers use the same reservoir as for the windshield. Pull the fuse for headlamp washers (I think it was in the engine bay), or better yet, remove the switch entirely. I replaced my switch (MY'00 so it was on the centre console) with a US coinholder.
Good luck!
Hang on to the washer jets in case you need to stick them on temporarily for MOT inspection.

Can I ask a question? Wouldn't it just be easier to disconnect the water hose going to the washers? Sure the washers themselves would still be there but there is no way water can get to them.
