A few people discussed this one...the front emblem will leave 2 holes in the front, because it has connecting pins.

Are you talking about all around or the sides or back or front?

wow, quick responses.

all around - or just one or two, if anyone's done it.

Jay: what do you mean by connecting pins? i'd imagine that the H emblem is attached the same way as on other H/A cars. a shop can fill the holes so it looks like there was never an emblem there.

Yeah, you can have that done, but that would also require painting over the holes too. I would think a good body shop could get that done.

Why does everyone want to remove the front emblem? Does it look bad?

I happen to like the looks of the stock emblem and even more so with the chrome emblems.

I like the emblems. But they are stolen too often.

I'm probably the only S owner who shaved his emblems. The reason I did this was because my car was in the body shop (this SaV tried to be Colin McRae ) and as a good favor from the owner of the shop, he shaved my emblems for free. If you ever come to San Francisco holla at me. I'll show you my clean S with all the other goodies I put into it. Latez!
